Description:
The film comments the thesis of the end of the great narratives
and the great heroes. In this situation every attempt to cross the
territory of knowledge becomes a dramatic thriller. An
ordinary visitor in a library (the author) paying a regular visit
suddenly finds himself the main character and victim in a lethal
action drama. Amidst unceasing gun-shots, screams, crashing vehicles
etc. (the sound is a mixe from popular action movies), he wanders
among the
bookshelves, trying to understand, to find his way out, to survive.

I
like the “real time recording”
Being addicted to Film and TV watching, I began to look the reality
as a movie production stage. Walking on the streets I imagine all
the people around as a movie characters, with hidden links among all
of them. In 96 I made an event and show called: “Directed by Krassimir
Terziev”, where I reproduced series of
my personal “turist” photo prints – all labeled “Directed by
Krassimir Terziev”, there were people known from the art circles in
Sofia, appearing to be characters in my “movie”. I also labeled all
the visitors in the exhibition with a stamp on chosen by them place
of their bodies, stating again “Directed by Krassimir Terziev”. So
with ”Ambient Noise Passage”
I continue my speculation on the topic: Is Reality a source for “Massmedia
Moving Image Industry” or
“Massmedia Moving Image Industry” is a source for reality.
Living in one of those monster living blocks, created by the
communistic arctitectural mirages 20 Years ago, my everyday experience,
inhabiting it is a real thriller movie serial. There is no need to
watch movies on the TV any more – I am taking part in them.
A scrach technic is used In the editing process.
